It follows Tess, a young survivor of a brutal child army, on a journey to find her missing sister and the pieces of a past she cannot escape. Across a shattered post-war landscape, she confronts trauma, indoctrination, and the faint hope of forgiveness—ultimately facing Loki, the charismatic and broken leader who once shaped her life. Though fictionalized, FireBreather is grounded in the testimonies of former child soldiers, blending raw realism with mythic imagery to reveal the scars of conflict—and the light that survives beneath them.
FireBreather goes beyond portraying trauma — it seeks to spark change. The series shines a light on the ongoing use of children in armed conflict and the urgent need for global rehabilitation and peacebuilding.
